Palais Stephanie in Cannes, France, has officially reopened after investing $55 million into an extensive renovation. The hotel's redesign pays tribute to the legendary film stars of past Cannes International Film Festivals, such as Sophia Loren, Brigitte Bardot, and Elizabeth Taylor.A Palme d'Or sculpture (named after the festival's top prize) serves as a focal in the lobby, where contemporary furniture, muted creams, and contrasting colors define the hotell's new look. In the 261 guestrooms and suites, hand-stitched leather accents, upholstered walls, and dramatic black and white portraits of iconic film stars combine for a glamorous ambiance.

The hotel also features a rooftop swimming pool and bar, La Scena Lounge Bar and Restaurant, a full casino, and nearly 13,000 square feet of meeting space. The design department from Jesta, the owning company, was responsible for the design of Palais Stephanie.
