Thank you for your hotels generosity...
Dear Mons. Duvauchelle, General Manager
May we take this opportunity to thank you for your hotels generosity for the stay. We were very impressed with the improvements to the hotel, guest rooms and general facilities. We have stayed many time at the "Noga Hilton" and we must say that the Stephanie is much improved. The friendliness of our staff especially at Reception, Restaurant and Car Parking was excellent.
Congratulations and we hope to be visiting you regularly in the future.
Best personal wishes
Walter + Simone Damerum-Fischer ,
A most enjoyable few days (22nd - 28th July 2009)
Re: Room 419 - 22nd - 28th July 2009.
I am writing to thank you and your excellent staff for a most enjoyable few days staying at The Palais Stéphanie Hôtel.
Kind Regards,
ps. We enjoyed the champagne!!
Great Location and Views
My wife and I enjoyed a long weekend in Cannes from September 6th - 10th. We elected to stay at the Palais Stephanie. We were upgraded to a nice suite that offered seperate living and bedroom quarters, kitchen and an outside balcony that was big enough to have our own sun loungers. The Suite was towards the back of the hotel so it offered no street noise and a lovely view of the harbor and sea.
The down side of the view was that you could see part of the roof. The Guest Services manager also provided a bouquet of flowers and a bottle of wine.
The kitchen area was a big bonus. The Fridge provided an opportunity to go the local market and purchase the most wonderful cheese, meats, fruits, baguettes and champagne for light lunches and a little happy hour prior to dinner.
The roof top pool offered the a very nice view of the entire bay. The Cannes yacht show was beginning on September 12th and many Mega Yachts were on mourings in front of the hotel. The pool area offered a great venue to watch all the boat activity.
The hotel location was the best. Easy walk to the train station for our day trips to Monacco and Grasse. Central to about anything you would like to to do, old port, shopping, beaches, etc.
We did not rent a car. We arrived Nice and took the bus (14 Euro per person / 40 minutes) directly into Cannes and then a quick taxi or walk to the hotel. Public transportation was easy to figure out and overall the best way to get around.
The staff was very pleasent and the evening concierge was very helpful in making dinner recommendations. We loved the restaurant "Le Caveau 30" so much that we ate their twice. The Pre Fix dinner is the bargin of the city. The balance of the servers were awesome....
Long weekend was not enough for us to see everything. We will be back and would not hesitate to stay at the Palais Stephanie again

Was driving through Cote D Azur, had no reservation, walked in and asked for a room. A week later visited and stayed there again.
First time the experience was exceptional -- the room was extremely stylish, everything was in pink color, and put together with an impeccable taste. The hotel is very modern and stylish, great location and ocean views, walking distance to everything.
Overall, very nice place.

Great Location and Service
We stayed at the Palais Stephanie August 13-16
Note: Take the advice of everyone in the Cannes Forum and take the train from the Nice Airport to Cannes- we rented a car for what turned out to be a $400 cab ride. We fought traffic from the airport to the hotel and back again and that was it. It would have been cheaper to take a helicopter.
Unless you rent a Ferrari (of which there were two parked in front of the hotel), you won't be able to impress anyone with your car.
We stayed at the height of tourist season so they were unable to accomodate my request for a room upgrade. However, we were welcomed with a bottle of champagne, an anniversary tort, and a handwritten note from the manager. Nice touch.
The concierge will make reservations for you at any one of several private beaches fronting the Med. We sunned at the Le Grand and Long Beaches. Long Beach was preferred by me because of the open swimming area.
On 15 August there was a huge fireworks show which we watched after having dinner on the beach at the Le Grand.
The train station is about a half mile from the hotel, so we also took an evening to visit Monaco.
The hotel has an outstanding location and is in the middle of all the action. The rooms are air-conditioned and soundproof, so we were still able to sleep at 2 am when everyone else was still out having fun.
We did not eat at the hotel, so I can not comment on that. There are dozens of restaurants within a few meters of the hotel and a bakery around the corner for espresso and crosaints.
The service from everyone at the hotel was outstanding. I will not hesitate to stay here again when I return to Cannes.
Wonderful Short Break
We decided to stay at the Palais Stephanie Cannes for a 3 day short break.
During our last stay in May we were given full Diamond Honors benefits and once again were given an upgrade to a very comfortable room. Our room was fresh, clean with a sea view from the balcony.
Service was excellent and we enjoyed eating in Le Bar Bleu in the sunshine.
Cannes is beautiful in early September and not quite so crowded as during the film festival or in August. We just wished we could have stayed longer.
